Dr. Baskin began her medical career in 1989 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She trained in pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.
She moved to Portland in 1998 with her husband and children. Here she continued her medical training in the area of aesthetic medicine, beginning with the field of phlebology. She studied for one year under Dr. William Walters, a sclerotherapy (varicose vein treatment) specialist. Dr. Baskin is a member of the American Academy of Phlebology, an association of physicians dedicated to the care of vein disorders.
As Dr. Baskin’s practice developed, she trained with many board-certified plastic surgeons and cosmetic dermatologists perfecting her skills in the area of aesthetic medicine. She is an active member of both the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Baskin takes pride in remaining current with the latest techniques and most up-to-date information that will aid in enhancing the way her patients look and feel.
