What is Juvederm?
Juvederm is an injectable gel used to instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds. It is made of hyaluronic acid which is found naturally in your connective tissue. Juvederm is great filler for the nasolabial folds (that fold running from your nose to the corner of your mouth), marionette lines, lip volume replacement and enhancement and sunken eyes. Juvederm usually lasts 6 months or slightly longer and can then be repeated.
What is Restylane?
Restylane is a gel product that is made of hyaluronic acid which is the acid responsible for youthful looking skin. As we age, the distribution and function of our own hyaluronic acid gradually leads to characteristic signs of again. Restylane gel looks to enhance your skin's hyaluronic acid, adding volume to areas of your face and body which need it. Restylane is great filler for lip plumping, marionette lines, nasolabial folds (that fold running from your nose to the corner of your mouth). Restylane can also be used to help sunken eyes. The product usually lasts 6 months or slightly longer and can then be repeated.
What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is considered the next generation in longer lasting wrinkle correction. It is a safe, FDA approved dermal filler that restores a natural, youthful look. Tiny calcium microspheres are used to support and stimulate the growth of your own collagen. Radiesse is great for the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and is also used to build back cheek volume that is lost with age. Radiesse has the lasting power of a year or more.
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is new facial filler that is used to replace facial fat loss that is seen with aging. It is often used to treat that tired look one gets when the face becomes sunken or gaunt. The product, known as poly-L-lactic acid, stimulates the production of collagen by your body which increases skin thickness. The procedure is usually performed in a series of three sessions where the collagen is built over a period of 6 months. The results usually last approximately 2 years which makes it a more convenient product to use in the long run.
